Have you experienced Jesus?

Knowledge is different from experience because knowledge exists in the head and may not have anything to do with experience. The knowledge of Jesus is quite different from the experience of Him. This is why it is possible to spend one's whole life knowing about the truths of God and never experiencing any of them. The former seems more appealing to some Christians than the latter and so, there are some people who have acquired several degrees in different areas of theology (Theology is simply the study of God), but who do not have much experience of God. Of what use is such knowledge? What is the relevance of biblical quotations that exist solely in the head and does not have bearing with the daily life of a Christian? Ideas about God fantastic though they may look are meaningless if they cannot find expression in experience.

Dear reader, the point is that you need to experience Jesus and allow him take full charge of your life. Your Christianity should go deeper than what people say about Jesus or what you know about Him, it should consider how close you are to Him, how much absolved you're in Him. It means you must let go of every obstacle in your life to let Jesus into your life; follow the way of the scripture and commit yourself to Jesus through prayer.

Wisdom Nugget
I believe firmly what I read in the holy scriptures, and the creed, called the Apostles', and I don't trouble my head any farther: I leave the rest to be disputed and defined by the clergy, if they please; and if any Thing is in common use with Christians that is not repugnant to the holy scriptures, I observe it for this Reason, that I may not offend other people- Anonymous
